Welcome to the on-line home of Bemidji State University's Traditional Skills Workshop.  This series of programs is being brought to you

by the Office of Sustainability.  On these pages you will find information regarding our current offerings and some information about how

 the courses work.

We have suspended the workshops for the summer but look forward to seeing you again

in the fall.  Thanks to all that participated this past year, it was so much fun!

At the top of the page there is a tab for each current course offering.  Click on the tab to find out more about that course.

These courses are available to all community members and we strive to make them accessible to people of all ages and ability levels.

Each course will begin with an explanation of the techniques involved in producing a finished product.  We will then have a hands on

portion where the skills taught are put into practice.  At the end of the workshop all participants should have something to take home

with them.

The cost of each course is $7.  Compared to other traditional skills workshops or even a community education course this is a bargain.

Almost all of the money you pay goes towards materials which you will be taking home with you.  Payment will be collected at the

 beginning of each workshop.
